The Kind Conservatory Parent Enrollment Policy 

We are excited to have you as part of The Kind Conservatory. To keep things running smoothly, here’s what you need to know about tuition, attendance, cancellations, and other important policies.

1. Tuition & Payment

• Tuition covers 40 lessons, 3 recitals, 1 exam, and 1 competition per year.

• Instead of large semester payments, tuition is divided evenly into 12 monthly payments for simplicity.

• Monthly payments are automatically processed using the payment method on file.

• Tuition must be paid before the first lesson.

• Late payments: A $50 late fee applies after 5 days, and lessons may be paused until payment is received.

💳 Automatic Payments & Payment Responsibility

• By enrolling, you agree to automatic monthly payments.

• It’s your responsibility to keep your payment method up to date.

• If a payment is declined, you’ll need to update it within 5 days to avoid service interruptions.

2. Attendance & Make-Up Lessons

• Students should attend their weekly lessons regularly.

• One make-up lesson per semester is allowed with at least 24 hours’ notice before cancellation.

• Make-ups are based on instructor availability and are not guaranteed.

• If the instructor cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• If you need to withdraw from lessons, email info@thekindconservatory.com with 30 days’ written notice.

• Tuition for the 30-day notice period is non-refundable, unless required by law.

• No refunds for missed lessons or absences.

• In cases of medical emergencies, refunds may be considered individually.

4. Holidays & Breaks

• Tuition stays the same every month, even during breaks or holidays.

• The 40 lessons are spread across the year, keeping payments predictable and ensuring financial stability for the studio and teachers.

5. Student Conduct

• Respectful behavior is expected from all students and families.

• Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from the program without a refund.

6. Financial Assistance

• Need-based financial aid may be available.

• Aid is determined based on funding availability and financial need.

• The Conservatory reserves the right to adjust or deny aid as necessary.

7. Gift Cards

• Gift cards are valid for 12 months from the purchase date (or longer if required by law).

• They cannot be refunded, transferred, or redeemed for cash.

• Gift cards do not cover exam, competition, or material fees.

• Lost or stolen gift cards require proof of purchase for replacement.

8. Agreement & Policy Updates

• By enrolling, you agree to follow these policies.

• We may update policies with 30 days’ written notice.

• Continued enrollment means you accept the updated policies.
